| 内容記述 | 近代化による経済発展の陰で、川の恵みを活用した川漁や伝統工芸など生業の継続が困難になり、その経験、知恵、伝統技術など、貴重な知的資源が失われようとしている。本調査研究では、川にかかわる"生業"に焦点をあて、職人技術者への調査を通して、忘れ去られようとしている技術や文化、歴史の記録保存を試み、最も適切な記録保存の方法を検証するとともに、そうした知的資源を川・地域・人のつながりの再構築に結び付け、さらにそれらを活用した地域活性化の方策について、考察することを目指した。研究対象としては川漁を中心とすることにした。なぜなら、川漁は、いまだに細々とではあるが、河川固有の伝統漁法を守りながら地域で活動しており、本調査研究を実施するにあたり適切な事例であると判断したからである。その調査のため全国の川漁の現状について資料を確認し、その中から、生業としての川漁の技術伝承が可能と思われる河川として、四万十川を選定し、事例調査を実施することにした。調査方法としては文献調査のほか、ヒアリング調査を実施した。川漁師、郷土史研究家などを対象に、2～3名から活動の内容、川漁の現状、河川の状況、環境の変化、問題点・課題、川に対する哲学・思想などについて聞き取りを行った。これらを通して、(1)伝統漁法の技術習得に至る要素、(2)川漁を軸とした新たな取り組みの要素について検証した。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Continuation of fishing in a river and the occupation including the folk-craft that utilized the blessing of the river in the shade of the economic development by the modernization becomes difficult, and the experience, wisdom, and valuable intellectual resources including the traditional technology are going to be lost. By this research, we have had a focus to "occupation" about river and tried technology and cultural record preservation of the history that were going to be forgotten through the investigation to a craftsman engineer and found a method of the appropriate record preservation and tied resources of such intellect to the rebuilding of the connection among a river, a local community and the person, and aimed at considering a policy of the area activation that utilized them more. We decided to do our study mainly on the fishing in a river because it is active in an area while following a traditional fishery peculiar to a river. We confirmed a document about the present conditions of the fishing in Japanese rivers for the investigation, and the technical tradition of the fishing in a river as the occupation which is conserved in the Shimanto-gawa River seemed to be appropriate to carry out the investigation. I carried out hearing investigation other than documents investigation for an investigation method. For a river fisherman, a craft-man and a local historian, I heard the contents of the activity, the present conditions of the fishing in a river, the situation of the river concerning to an environmental change, problems, philosophy or thought for the river from three people. I inspected the element of the fishing in a river to reach the technical acquisition of the tradition fishery and also the element through these activities which make the community ties and regeneration. | |||||||||||
