| 内容記述 | 介護保険制度が導入され，老親介護を担う家族の負担は和らいだかといえば，そうではない。家族，特に家族の中での女性による老親介護の当然視は根強くある。本論は，老親の「嫁」による介護，その介護負担について記載された文献を考察する。「嫁」による老親介護は，近代家族の扶養意識の象徴ともいえる。近代家族が培ってきた家族負担を，「かつて」のままにせず，現代にも通じる老親介護の根源的問題として捉える。結果，①家族負担を前提とした社会的価値観が閉塞的な介護環境を作り続けている。②介護負担だけを取り上げ，それを和らげるサービスを用意しても，それはその場しのぎの策に過ぎない。③家族や女性に負担を強いる社会的価値に向き合い，介護そのものが極めて人間的な営みであるという視点を培っていかねばならない。長寿化によって誰もが直面する介護において，開放的な環境を作り出すためにも，介護問題の根源的問題を見失ってはならない。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The introduction of the long-term care insurance system has not eased the burden on families responsible for the care of elderly parents. There is a deep-rooted tendency that the care of elderly parents should be taken by family members, especially women in the family. This paper examines the literature describing the care of elderly parents by their daughters-in-law and the burden associated with this care. The care of elderly parents by daughters-in-law is a symbol of the modern family's attitude of filial responsibility. The idea of caring for elderly parents as a family burden that has been developed by the modern family should be considered not a thing "of the past," but a fundamental problem that is still relevant today. The result revealed that: (1) Social values based on the idea of caregiving as a family burden continue to create a closed environment in caregiving; (2) Simply addressing the burden of caregiving and providing services to alleviate it is only a stopgap measure; (3) There is a need to confront the social values that place a burden on families and women and cultivate the perspective that caregiving itself is a deeply human activity. To create an open environment in caregiving—a concerning issue for all of us as a result of increasing longevity—we must not lose sight of the root problems of caregiving. | |||||
