| 内容記述 | 本研究では里親家庭における経済的負担の現状を検証するために，里親家庭の家計状況について全国調査を行った。全国の里親家庭4,038世帯を対象とし，郵送法による質問紙調査を実施した。調査内容は基本属性，収入(定期支給の委託費)，学習に関する支出(就学関連支出，就学以外の学習関連支出，その他)，アフターケアに向けての預貯金で構成した。統計解析では里子が一人の欠損値を有しない801世帯のデータを使用し，全体及び就学状況別に収支の差の平均値と中央値を算出した。その結果，里親は里親手当を持ち出さざるを得ない状況，つまり不十分な経済的支援の中で里子の養育をしていることが明らかになった。考察では里親が経済的負担を背負いながら里子を受託しており，また経済的負担は里子の加齢と深く関係しているという結果を踏まえ，里親手当などの経済的支援を拡充する必要性について議論した。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | In this study, we conducted a nationwide survey on the household financial situation of foster families in order to verify the current state of their economic burden. Questionnaires were mailed to 4,038 foster families nationwide. The questionnaire consisted of basic attributes : income (periodical payments of commission fees), expenditures (school-related expenditures, learning-related expenditures other than school fees, etc.), and savings for aftercare. For the statistical analysis, we used the data from 801 households with one foster child without missing values and calculated the average value and median value of the difference between incomes and expenditures among all participants by overall and schooling status. The results revealed that foster parents are forced to make use of foster care allowances, that is to say, they are taking care of their foster children with insufficient financial support. In the discussion, the necessity of expanding financial support such as foster care allowances was discussed based on the result that foster parents who take care of foster children do so with a financial burden, and that this burden is deeply related to the aging of foster children. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
