| 内容記述 | 1979年のイラン革命来、イランはアメリカと外交関係を断絶し、イラン・アメリカ関係は今日まで対立的であり、緊張に満ちている。両国関係は、アフマディーネジャード政権以降特に先鋭化する傾向にあったが、それはイランの女性運動の動向にも影響を及ぼした。本稿では、イランの国家アイデンティティでもある「殉教者精神」がフェミニズムやジェンダー平等という世俗主義的な思想を背景とする女性運動にどのように作用したか、それに対する女性活動家たちの応答はいかなるものであったのかを分析する。そして、イランで唯一存続している女性雑誌『ザナーネ・エムルーズ』(Zanān-i Imrūz,今日の女性たち)の言説を読み解くことで、女性の権利に関する言説がイスラームの枠組みを超克していることを指摘する。そこには、イランのイスラーム体制のイデオロギーと市民社会の希求する人権との乖離が見られる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | After the Iranian Revolution of 1979, Iran severed diplomatic ties with the U.S. Since then, Iran-U.S. relations have continued to be hostile and tension-filled to this day. Relations between the two countries have particularly worsened after the Ahmadinejad era, which had a significant impact on the women's movement in Iran. This article analyzes how "martyrdom," an iconic concept of Iranian identity, has influenced the women's movement in Iran, and it examines how women's rights activists have responded to state control by asserting the principles of feminism, gender equality, and other secular ideas. This study also points out that the discourse on women's rights has moved beyond the framework of Islam by citing an analysis of assertions made in Iran's only surviving women's magazine, Zanān-i Imrūz ("Women of Today"). These assertions reveal a divergence between the ideologies of Iran's Islamic political system and the human rights sought by civil society. | |||||||||||
