| 内容記述 | 本論文では、財が耐久性によって製品差別化されている複占市場を分析した。財の耐久性は外生的に与えられ、財を生産する限界費用は耐久性に依存しないと仮定する。時間は無限期間までを考え、各企業が各期に生産数量を選択する。その結果、低い耐久性の財を生産する企業のほうが生産量が多く、またより大きな利潤を得る場合あることが明らかになった。ただし、中古財の品質が十分に低い、もしくは財を生産する限界費用が十分に低い場合である。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | In this paper, we analyze a duopoly market where products are differentiated by durability. We assume that the durability of goods is provided exogenously, and that the marginal cost is independent of the durability. There is an infinite horizon, and firms choose the production level in every period. We obtain the following result. A firm that provides goods with less durability produces more goods in every period and can earn more profit than another if the quality of the secondhand goods or the marginal cost are sufficient low. | |||||||||||
