| 内容記述 | 拙著『世界史のなかの台湾植民地支配―台南長老教中学校からの視座』執筆にいたるプロセスをふりかえりながら、イギリス史との対話の中で日本の台湾植民地支配にかかわる歴史像を更新していくためのポイントを考察し、「植民地主義」「人種主義」のような分析概念をイギリス史にも日本史にも適用可能な形で再定義していく必要や、台湾の教会自治をめぐる葛藤をイギリス人宣教師が世界各地で遭遇した事態の一環として位置づける必要を指摘した。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Reexamining the process of writing Colonial Rule in Taiwan in World History—From the Perspective of the Tainan Presbyterian Middle School (2015) , this paper have considered important points to update the historical image concerned with Japanese colonial rule in Taiwan through dialogue with the British history, and maintained that it is necessary to define the analytical concept such as the "colonialism" "racism" in the form that is applicable to both the British history and Japanese history, and also to place a tension over the self-government of Taiwanese church as a part of the situations that British missionaries met with in all parts of the world. | |||||||||||
