| 内容記述 | 本稿では小説「清兵衛と瓢箪」を例として、ほかの20編の小説のデータを補充として、文脈展開機能の中心的な要素である持ち込み内容の側面から「コレ」と「ソレ」の違いを考察した。結果として、小説において、「ソレ」の持ち込み内容は、情報量が少なく語句や節レベルの短い言語単位の内容で表されることの多い「物体」「行為・心情」など具体的なものを持ち込みやすい。それに対して、「コレ」の持ち込み内容は、情報量が多く文や連文レベルの長い言語単位の内容で表されることの多い「事態・様相」「発言内容」のような抽象的なものとなりやすいと考えられる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this paper I analyze the differences between the implied contents of the demonstrative pronouns kore and sore as a central factor of contextual expansion. The data is drawn from "Seibei to hyotan" ("Seibei's Gourds") and twenty other novels from Shincho Bunko. From this study I confirmed the following phenomena: Within these novels, the use of sore generally denotes specific phrases or clauses containing little information tending to comprise concrete concepts such as "object" or "operation." In contrast, kore is used to denote complex and abstract ideas that can span one or more sentences such as "situation", "aspect", or "contents of an utterance." | |||||
