| 内容記述 | 本論文は屋外舗装路環境における知的電動車椅子のための4層レーザレンジファインダ(FLRF)を用いた道路認識法を提案する.道路認識とは車椅子が走行できる前方の平坦路を検出することを意味する.FLRFは前方の道路環境からレーザスキャン情報を取得し,占有格子地図にマッピングする.舗装路の大部分は平坦ではあるが, 縁石や溝等によって境界がある.平坦路面の検出はRANSAC手法に基づいて行い,道路境界は占有格子地図における障害物セルとして認識する.車椅子を大学キャンパス内で1km走行させる実験により提案手法の性能を調べる. | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper presents a method of road recognition using four-layered laser range finder (FLRF) for a smart electric wheelchair in outdoor pavement environments. Road recognition means detecting the flat road in front of a wheelchair on which it travels. The FLRF captures laser-scan images from the forward road environments, which are mapped onto a grid map. Paved roads are almost flat but are bounded by curbs, ditches, or edges. Detection of the flat road surface is based on a random sample consensus (RANSAC) method, while the road boundaries are identified as obstacle cells in the grid map. The performance of our presented method is shown through experiments of 1 km travelling of a wheelchair on our university campus grounds. | |||||||||
