| 内容記述 | 同志社大学の体育会に所属するフェンシング、水泳、野球、バスケットボール、アメリカンフットボール、ラグビーの各競技選手を対象に、競技特性が骨組成に与える影響について、新しく改良を加えた超音波骨密度測定装置を使用して測定し検討を加えた。その結果、全般的には,利き腕が非利き腕より大なる値を示した.特にフェンシング選手は、すべての項目で利き腕が大なる値を示また。ボール・ゲーム選手とコンタクト・ゲーム選手として比較した場合,利き腕,非利き腕ともコンタクト・ゲームが大なる値を示し、特に両腕の値の差が顕著で、コンタクト・ゲーム特有の激しい「衝撃」に起因しているものと思われ、競技中に衝撃を受ける頻度の高い部位の骨密度が高いと想像された。しかし、水泳選手の骨密度は、利き腕、非利き腕の差が非常に少なかった。競技特性上、瞬間的な衝撃の少なさがその原因かと想像された。次に、 各項目間の相関関係をみた場合、水泳選手がもっとも多く関係する項目が見られた。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | We measured the bone density of athletes in fencing, swimming, baseball, basketball, American football and rugby who belong to the Doshisha University Sports club by using a new type of ultrasonic bone density scale currently under development at the Doshisha University in order to study the influence of the special feature of each sport on bone structures. The results indicated that in general, the bone density of an athlete is higher in his dominant arm than non-dominant arm. Especially in all cases of fencers, the value in his dominant arm was higher. Contact sports athletes resulted in larger values for both ominant and non-dominant arms than ball games athletes. Especially, the difference of the values for dominant arms between the two is quite obvious, which may be due to aggressive "impacts", typical feature of contact sports. Certain parts of contact sports athletes' bodies that tend to receive aggressive impacts during the game seem to show high scores in the bone density. On the other hand, the bone density of swimmers showed extremely small difference between dominant arm and non-dominant arm. Finally, when we look at correlations between bone density values, the swimmers' bone density values indicated the highest correlations to other values. | |||||||||||
