| 内容記述 | Islam is the religion of all the prophets since Adam, and the consensus of Islam―irrespective of sect and school―is that salvation extends beyond the "Umma of Muhammad" to all the "monotheists"in the world. As regards the possibility of salvation beyond the Umma of Muhammad. since the time of Muhammad's mission the theology of Sunni Islam's "orthodox" Ashari school has accepted the salvation of people in regions where Islam has not been propagated. The idea of salvation of non-Muslims is not just the product of compromise or of eclecticism, but one that is theoretically inherent and inevitable in the thought of this school. In my personal opinion, the theological basis for the future coexistence of Islam and other religions will be to successfully deepen and develop the tradition of the Ashari school's theories on salvation. The doctrine advocating the salvation of people who have not been exposed to Islam can be of great practical significance in the propagation of the religion in countries where people are strongly attached to ancestor service, and where there is not a long history of contact with Islam. This is because prohibition of ancestor service can ordinarily be a great obstacle to the propagation of monotheistic religion. | |||||||
