 note = {In Uganda, the deforestation is a big problem like another countries in Africa and Latin America, and farmland areas show a yearly increase. It is very difficult to detect the small farmland area using low resolution satellite data sets. In this study, we produced the land cover map of Uganda using ADEOS-II/GLI 250 m mosaic data sets. The classification conditions are determined by referring to the Land Cover/Use Map of the National Biomass Study 2003.
