Pakistan gained independence from British India in 1947. Since then, several business groups have driven Pakistan's economy. These business groups are controlled by particular business group families. This study focuses on four business groups, namely, the Atlas, Bibojee, Dawood, and Lakson groups, and assesses the relationships between the families and the specified business groups' affiliated companies. Specifically, the Annual Reports published by the business groups' affiliated companies between 2002-2020 were used to determine the family members with the most influence over the business groups'
