The paper focuses on the history of the propagation of SGI in Italy and the impact of the concepts of Nichiren among new believers.\nMany believers of Japanese religions that proselytize overseas are of Japanese origin or descent, but SGI has more than 12 million members in 192 nations and regions, including not only Japanese people living abroad, but also non-Japanese. SGI has more than 90,000 members in Italy, almost of all are Italians. \nSo how has Soka Gakkai, a religion said to be grounded in Japanese Buddhism, been accepted in Italy, which differs from Japan in its language, and Judeo-Christian cultural background especially
