| 内容記述 | 変化の激しい社会状況にあって、学校教育の充実こそが、我が国の将来の姿を左右する。そのためには、教育の直接の担い手である教員の資質能力の向上が最も重要だと言える。教員に求められる資質能力や教師像は、時代背景のもと、「不易と流行」の観点から中央教育審議の答申や先行研究の中で論じられてきた。 本研究では、小・中学校に勤務する319人の現職教員と同志社大学において教職課程を履修している学生341人を対象に、これからの教員に求められる資質能力に関して、同一のアンケート調査を実施した。分析の結果、教育者としての使命感、教育に対する情熱や熱意、子どもに対する教育的愛情は、現職教員、学生ともに、教員にとって最も大切な資質能力だと認識していることが分かった。また、大学における教員養成段階では、授業力や教科指導、学級経営、生徒指導などに対して、より計画的・系統的な指導が必要だという示唆が得られた。本研究報告が、今後の教員養成の一助になることを祈念する。 |

| 内容記述 | As society changes rapidly, improving school education will determine Japan's future. To this end, it is most important to improve the qualities and abilities of teachers, the direct providers of education. Central Council for Education reports and previous studies looking at "immutability and fashion" in a historical context have discussed the qualities and abilities required of teachers and their image. In this study, I conducted an identical survey on the qualities and abilities required of teachers in the future amongst 319 active elementary and junior high school teachers and 341 teacher training course students at Doshisha University. Result analysis indicated both active teachers and students saw their sense of mission as educators, passion for education, and educational affection toward children as teachers' most important qualities. It also suggests nurturing lecturing ability, subject teaching, class management, student guidance, etc. during the teacher training stage in universities necessitates more systematic instruction. I hope this report will contribute to future teacher training. |
