| 内容記述 | 月面探査ローバーの移動メカニズムは，車輪型，クローラー型，ホッピング型のタイプに大きく分類される．車輪型は，構造がシンプルでかつ低コストで設計することができるが，走行性能が悪いのが欠点である．車輪型の探査ローバーは，月面のような軟弱地盤環境において，傾斜20度前後の登坂が限界であると報告されている．しかし，実際の月面探査では，急な傾斜であっても，登坂することが求められる．さらに，今後の月面探査では，小型探査ローバーによる本格的な表面探査が検討されている． 筆者らは過酷な月面環境で稼働可能な超小型・超軽量の4輪の車輪型探査ローバーの開発を行い，車輪形状を変更し，軟弱地盤環境での走行性能向上を試みている．本研究では，円柱車輪と3つの楕円柱車輪を使用し，軟弱地盤における小型月面探査ローバー用楕円柱車輪の走行性能評価を行った． |

| 内容記述 | Lunar exploration rovers can be roughly classified into wheeled, crawler, and hopping types. The wheeled rover has a simple structure and can be designed at a low cost, but its drawback is its low traveling performance. On soft ground such as the lunar surface, it has been reported that it is limited to climbing an incline of about 20 degrees. It has been reported that the wheeled rover is limited to climbing an incline of about 20 degrees in a soft ground environment such as the lunar surface. However, in actual lunar exploration, the rover has to climb even on steep slopes. In addition, full-scale surface exploration by small exploration rovers is being considered for future lunar exploration. The authors have developed an ultra-compact and ultra-lightweight four-wheeled exploration rover that can operate in the harsh lunar environment. We modified the shape of the wheels and tried to improve the traveling performance in soft ground environment. In this study, a cylindrical wheel and three ellipsoidal cylindrical wheels are used. In this study, we evaluated the running performance of the elliptic column wheel of the small lunar exploration rover in soft ground by using the cylindrical wheel and the elliptic column wheels. | |||||||||||||||||
