| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to reread Clare's ecopoems in their specific historical context and to inquire into the modernity of his poetics. In order to reexamine the ecocritics' efforts to displace him both in terms of space and in terms of history in order to read Clare ecologically, this paper attempts to analyze the equivocality of his poetic voice, by addressing a provocative question raised by Giorgio Agamben, concerning the act of testimony in The Remnants of Auschwitz. | |||||||||||
