| 内容記述 | 本稿は、ユーロの成立経緯、利点および問題点を踏まえながら、AEC創設以降におけるASEAN共通通貨の実現可能性に関する検証を試みた。本稿の主な結論は次の3つである。第1に、ASEAN域内全体が最適通貨圏の理論が成立し収斂条件を満たしているとは判断し難い。第2に、ASEAN域内の共通通貨導入の際は、上記条件を概ね満たす加盟国のみで通貨同盟を構築し、将来的に域内全体へ共通通貨導入を段階的に拡大する方法が現実的である。最後に、ASEAN域内における共通通貨導入国と未導入国の二分は、多方面でASEANの連結と亀裂を生じさせる可能性がある。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper attempts to verify the feasibility of the ASEAN common currency since the establishment of AEC, taking into account the history of the formation of the euro, its advantages and problems. There are three main conclusions in this paper. First, it is difficult to judge that the theory of the optimal currency zone has been established in the entire ASEAN region and that it has satisfied the convergence condition. Second, when introducing a common currency into the ASEAN region, it is realistic to build a currency union with only member countries that generally meet the above conditions and gradually expand the introduction of a common currency into the entire region in the future. Lastly, the dichotomy between countries with and without the introduction of common currencies within the ASEAN region may cause ASEAN linkages and cracks in many areas. | |||||
