The prevalence and effects of the four types of experiences in Japan are compared with those in Australia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The research resulted in the following findings: First, in Japan, the proportion of university students who face the four types of difficulties in their transition from university to work is much smaller than that in the other three countries.
