Experienced teachers should thus communicate the appeal of being a teacher to students interested in teaching. Issues such as \"bullying\" and \"absenteeism\", however, have made proper student guidance more difficult in recent years. The Guidance and Counselling is to promote the development of self-teaching ability for each student. All teachers are required to have the ability to develop self-teaching ability skills. Specifically it is communication to students by three functions of raise self-esteem, relationship building of care about each other, provide the opportunity of self-determination, A study by the Kyoto City Board of Education found that cultivating the ability to teach oneself leads to an improvement in academic performance. To really understand this, however, students interested in becoming a teacher needs to have experienced \"in-depth study by thinking for themselves through discussion\" first-hand.
