| 内容記述 | 本稿は、フリードリヒ・ゴーガルテン(Friedrich Gogarten, 1887-1967)の神学的歴史理解の全体像を把握することを目的とする。ゴーガルテンは、『我は三一の神を信ず』(Ich glaube an den dreieinigen Gott, 1926)において、「歴史」(Geschichte)を「我」と「汝」の出会いという実存的な思惟形式によって理解した。しかしここで、なぜ「歴史」が我と汝の実存的な関係によって生じるのか、ここでの「歴史」とは何を指すものであるのかという問いが生じる。そこで本稿では、歴史の問題について比較的体系的な記述がなされている戦後の著作を分析することによって、ゴーガルテンの神学的思索の全体像を把握することを試みる。ゴーガルテンはこれらの著作の中で、近代の歴史理解の自己完結性を批判し、こうした歴史の閉鎖状態を脱するために、人間と世界からなる歴史の外部から到来する神の将来性へ、人間が信仰によって身をさらす必要性を主張した。この神たる汝との出会いによって、地上の歴史は再び神の救済の歴史として、神との繋がりを恢復する。つまり、その意味で、我と汝という実存的出会いが「歴史」となるのである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This article aims to grasp the whole picture of Friedrich Gogarten's theological understanding of history. In his "I believe in Triune God (Ich glaube an den dreieinigen Gott, 1926)", Gogarten saw "history" (Geschichte), in the form of existentialism, namely, from the perspective of the encounter between "I" and "thou". There might be a problem of how history is made possible by the existential relationship between "I" and "thou". And what does this "history" actually mean? The article is to comprehend Gorgarten's whole view of history by analyzing his works written after WWII, in which Gogarten discussed history systematically. What the article makes clear is that in these texts Gorgarten criticized the self-sufficient nature of the modern understanding of history, and suggested that it is necessary for humans to ally themselves with faith open to the futurity of God, who intervenes into history from outside. Furthermore, he proposed that encountering God as "Thou" gives us the wholeness of history by integrating our world with God's history, with the result that humans can restore their true relationship with God. In this sense, the encounter between "I" and "thou" makes our history God's history. | |||||
