It published the first issue of The Oriental Economist which was Toyo Keizai Shimpo in English editions in May 1934. Its purpose of publication was to transmit to foreign countries an accurate information about political and economic situations in Japan. Although what the magazine was published in that time is a topic of great interest, there is few study about that.
