However, we currently know little of the structure of the systems involved and the process by which such systems are transferred to foreign subsidiaries in various regions. Focusing on the challenge of Panasonic in the 2010s, this paper explores how a global standardized HR system comes into being and how it is implemented. Primary drivers and obstacles regarding the process are also revealed in detail. These insights help us understand the institutions and practices of the recently formed multi-international labor
