Consequently, it is possible to say that Schleiermacher opposed the change in the liturgical agenda by a secular power but approved giving a significant place to the Apostles' Creed in the new liturgical agenda, like King Frederick William III. In spite of the controversy over the change of the liturgical agenda, through this occurrence, the Apostles' Creed won the place of the most important dogmatic document in the protestant church, and Schleiermacher contributed to
