| 内容記述 | マルコ14章3-9節、マタイ26章6-13節に記される「イエスに香油を注いだ女」の物語で、イエスは女の行為に対し「わたしに良いことをしてくれたのだ」と告げる。一般に、ギリシア語で「良い」を表す語はagathosやkalosである。この物語では、両福音書とも、kalosが使われている。kalosは古典ギリシア語においては、主に美しさを指すことばであり、非常に重要な意味を持つ。一方、七十人訳聖書においては、耽美的な側面が退くとともに、そのことばの持つ意味合いも、古典ギリシアほどの重要性はないといわれてきている。本稿では、七十人訳聖書におけるkalosの使用法を探ることにより、従来の語義的説明の妥当性を再検討し、kalosの持つ意味の広がりや深さについて論考する。その中で、同義語であるagathosとの違い、kalosと「真」、「神の喜び」との関係を明らかにし、さらには、七十人訳聖書におけるkalosの重要性にも言及する。これらを通して、上掲の物語を解釈する手がかりをつかむ。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In the story "A Woman who Anoints Jesus" (MK14:3-9, MT26:6-13), Jesus says, "She has done a good thing to me." Generally speaking, in Greek, the words which denote "good" are agathos and kalos. In this story, kalos is used. In the ancient Greek, kalos is the word which mainly means "beauty," and it has a very important meaning. On the other hand, in LXX, they say that the aesthetic aspect is not emphasized; moreover the meaning and the role of the word becomes less important. In this thesis, I review the usual semantic explanations by studying the use of kalos in LXX, and I argue about the extent and depth of the meaning of kalos. I reveal how kalos differs from agathos. I also expand the relationship between the word kalos and "truth" and "joy of God." Moreover, I refer to the importance of kalos in LXX. From this, I look for clues to interpret the story. | |||||
