To address the goal, a semi-structuralized interview was conducted to nine elders aged 65 or older who were living alone while neglecting themselves. I conducted analysis and categorization with the use of M-GTA and further classified their needs into the parent categories using the Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The results have extracted 17 codes and 9 categories in relation to the subjects' support needs, which have been classified into three parent categories through Maslow's hierarchy of needs, including \"support to meet safety needs\", \"support to meet desire for love and belonging,\" and \"support to meet desire for respect\". The findings of this study imply that the subjects' support needs vary without particular stages and that building a rapport with the concerned elderly and in-depth understanding of their life history will be required to be able to properly identify their potential desires that have long been
