 note = {本稿では、「ご当地アイドル」のパフォーマンスを事例に、住民主体の地域振興のあり方について探究した。その際、パフォーマンス研究という枠組みを用い、「ご当地アイドル」のメンバーおよび運営にまつわる関係者に対して実施した聞き取り調査の結果をもとに、メンバー（＝パフォーマー）にとってパフォーマンスがどのような効果を発揮し、それが地域振興とどのように関わっていったのかを、シェクナー（2006）が提唱したパフォーマンス機能の類型を参照しながら考察した。以上の結果、「ご当地アイドル」のパフォーマンスは、パフォーマーにとって、娯楽、アイデンティティの確認・変更、共同体の構築・維持、教育・説得という主として4つの機能を持つことで、若い世代が主体となる地域振興の可能性を提示していることが導き出せた。, This paper examines the regional revitalization as an empowerment by local residents, through a case study about the activities of regional idols in Japan. In this article, I discuss what impacts were had on the members of idol groups (performers) and how their performances were related to regional promotion, using the framework of performance studies and having semi-structured interviews with regional idols and their stakeholders. Refer to Schechner’s theory about the functions of performance (2006), the performances of regional idols have mainly four functions for performers: to entertain, to mark or change identity, to make or foster community, and to teach, persuade, or convince.
