The aim of this study was to examine the effect of three different observational conditions on observational learning and brainwave patterns. The three conditions were: the Recognition condition, the Reversal condition, and the Recall condition. The recall test conducted after observation showed, although there was no significant difference between the three conditions, male reproduced poses more than female. Brain wave of alpha band (8 – 13 Hz) analysis showed that the potential in the first three trials was smaller than that in the last three trials, and the alpha attenuation was observed in the first three trials of all conditions. These results suggested that although the observational strategy did not affect observational learning effects in this study and not show brainwave pattern reflecting the cognitive load, the same brain region is activated on the first three observational trials more than last three observational
