Although Rokuzaemon Noda of the fourth-generation master was expelled from the family business for debauchery, the masters in the following generations restored the performance of the business by setting a branch family to strengthen the management team. Further, a part of the profit was awarded to the long-service employees, which assured their loyalty and extended services.
