Islam believes that everything was created by Allah's command of existence. Al-Nābulusī, a Syrian mystic who believes in Islamic mystical philosophy known as Waḥdat al-Wujūd (the concept of oneness of beings), studied this shared concept among the schools of Ibn `Arabī and originated the idea that Allah only should exist whenever He pronounces His divine word of existence. There should be a self-dialogue between Allah's presence as a speaker (subject) and Allah's presence as the object being spoken because only Allah holds the ultimate authority of divine order of existence. Hence, it is sinful for human beings to regard themselves as the object of divine order. Human beings can undertake the divine order only by repentance, understanding that our essence is nothingness and is not worthy of possession of divine order. It is by setting aside all worldly desires that human beings can live Allah's presence of “being spoken\" in “the stage of nothingness\". Al-Nābulusī's thought proposed a broad view not only of a mystical philosophy but also existential matters for Muslims and also confirmed some similarities with the thoughts of Christian Mystic, Meister Eckhart. This paper focuses on the concept of sin and repentance in Islamic mysticism according to al-Nābulusī. Furthermore, it tries to present a new perspective in the study of the mysticism of Abrahamic religions, especially a cross-border study of mysticism between Islam and
