The purpose of this paper is to reexamine his methodology with the awareness of the question through his Epistle to the Romans(Der Römerbrief, 1922). We will analyze the book itself but more specifically try to clarify the theological principles that govern Barth's use of terms such as “Jesus\", \"Christ\", and \"Jesus Christ\". As a result of this study, it comes to be obvious that Karl Barth was understanding the union of the Divine Essence(super-historicity) with the Human Nature(historicity), vere Deus et vere homo which
