We designed the causal model to examine the relations between life problems of Korean fathers and women immigrants and child maltreatment based on stress cognitive theory of Lazarus et al. and child maltreatment process model of Hillson et al. And this model was examined by using structural equation modeling. This research have shown that the stronger the Korean fathers' childcare stress levels, and the stronger the women immigrants' parenting stress levels, the higher the frequency of child
