| 内容記述 | This article clarifies the Sufi genealogy of Ahmad Kuftaru as a leading Shaykh of the Naqshbandi Sufi order in modern Syria, through the Damascene networking of the 19th and 20th centuries' Naqshbandi Shaykhs, including his father, Amin Kuftaru. Moreover, this article shows that the networking of the Naqshbandi-Khalidi order established by `Isa Kurdi before Amin's arrival at Damascus formed the center of contemporary Islamic scholars. This order developed in the 20th century as the center of the Sufi community committed to political activities as a member of the `Ulama' League. | |||||||||||
