Hence, it is important to develop understanding for potential use of fuels. Consequently, we propose a conceptual research to control the spray and combustion processes with fuel design in terms of further improvement of thermal efficiency and exhaust emissions because fuels provide the significant effect on diesel engine performance.In this paper, we present the concept of our research and then, introduce the experimental results. As the first step, the combustion characteristic is described with mixed fuel consisting of CO2 and n-tridecane. Furthermore, the spray and combustion characteristics of flashing spray were investigated through spray vessel and engine test. These results show fuel design approach has a possibility to improve the exhaust concentrations and realize higher efficiency in diesel engine., application/pdf}, title = {燃料設計手法による高効率・低エミッション燃焼法の提案研究( 第1報 -燃料設計手法の概念と研究例- )}, year = {2004}, yomi = {センダ, ジロウ and ワダ, ヨシミツ and キッタ, ヨシアキ} }
