 note = {松居久左衛門家(まついきゅうざえもん)は、江戸後期の近江商人を代表する商家である。本稿の目的は、江戸期から明治期にいたる150年間の松居家の資産蓄積の過程を明らかにすることと、受継いだ資産を10倍に増加させて、松居家に隆盛をもたらした三代目松居遊見(まついゆうけん)の経営理念を考察することである。遊見は、自分のみの富裕を望んだのではなく、商機を郷里の人々と共有しようとした。その考え方は、彼の信仰する仏教の教えに基づくものであった。この遊見の考え方は、自家に富をもたらしただけでなく、商人を目指す多くの後輩を育てることに結果し、地域社会へ貢献するものとなった。, Kyuzaemon Matsui's family was a well-known Ohmi merchant family in the late Edo period. This paper aims to clarify the Matsui family's asset accumulation process over the 150 years from the Edo period to the Meiji period, and to examine the business management principles of Yuken Matsui, a third generation family member, who decupled the inherited family wealth and brought prosperity to his family. Yuken not only pursued the family's prosperity but also shared business chances with the local people.
