| 内容記述 | 病院経営において、間接部門の合理化が注目されている。コストダウンターゲットは基幹業務を担う「診療部門」から、これまで聖域とされてきた企画・管理・事務業務を担う「管理部門」へと範囲が拡大している。本研究では管理部門の合理化について、間接人員の比率に焦点を当て実態調査を行った。その結果、一般病院・精神科病院ともに平成14～19年(6年間)を通じて継続的に間接人員比率が減少を続け、平成19年には平成14年対比で平均9.8パーセントの低下をみた。加えて、病床規模・開設者の観点から分析を行なった。一般病院では、その増大に比例して間接人員の比率が低下する規模効果を確認した。精神科病院では規模による間接人員の比率に違いはみられなかった。開設者については開設母体毎に間接人員比率の違いを調査し、「個人・公益法人・医療法人・厚生労働省・社会保険関連団体」で平均を上回る間接人員比率の高さを確認した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Much attention has been paid to the streamlining the indirect work forces in the hospitals. The targets of the streamlining have been sifted in the emphasis from the medical departments which has line functions to the managerial departments which is responsible for business planning, managerial control and clerical works. This research analyzed the ratio of the indirect workforces in order to get a clearer picture of this trend of streamlining. I have found both the general hospitals and mental hospitals have experienced continual decrease in the ratio of indirect workforces through 6 years from 2002 to 2007; attaining 9.8 points decrease altogether since 2002. I also have found the ratio of the indirect workforces of the general hospitals has decreased in accordance with their size, while that of the mental hospitals has had no relation with their size. As to the difference of the ratio in terms of the ownership of the hospitals, those institutions established by such non market related ownership like individuals, nonprofit corporation, Health Care Corporation, Ministry of Social Security and Labor and so forth were found to have had higher indirect ratio. | |||||
