By appropriating the forensic tradition, Paul places the immoral man's actions in an anthropological context that allows him to hold the immoral man accountable in light of eschatological judgment. By appropriating the cosmological tradition, he places the immoral man's actions in a cosmological context that warns the community of Satan's power in the cosmos as well as the consequences of being removed from the
