He was a liberal, democrat and patriot. In his argument for NICHIREN who was renowned Buddhist in middle Japan, there are two features. The first is that it is a method of criticizing political, economical, social situation. The second is that it reflect his patriotism. Under a critical situation, Asia-pacific war and Korean war, he was upset by patriotism. However, he regained his own confidence through the discussion about NICHIREN and overcame the shake.
