| 内容記述 | フィンランドで考案されたノルディックウォーキングが、今、優れた健康運動として世界中で脚光を浴びている。このノルディックウォーキングを世界でリードしているのが、国際ノルディックウォーキング協会(INWA: nternational Nordic Walking Association)である。INWA主催のコンベンションがフィンランドのヘルシンキ近郊のEspooという町で2007年10月4日から6日の3日間にわたって開催された。今回は世界のノルディックウォーキングの動向について、コンベンションの参加で得た知識とともに、考察する。今回のレビューでは1)INWAの概略と公認資格取得、2)ノルディックウォーキングの世界の動向調査、そして3)ノルディックウォーキング普及の現状と課題という3つの観点から、論じることとする。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Nordic walking has been known as a safe and effective exercise for health than the other aerobic exercises. In the present time, there are more than 50 scientific articles in the World. This exercise has started about 10 years ago in Finland. The safety and effectiveness of this exercise has been widely accepted and it scarcely spread to the World and also in Japan. International Convention of Nordic Walking hosted by International Nordic Walking Association (INWA) has been held in Espoo, Helsinki from 4th to 6th of October 2007. The author has participated in this Convention and gotten the information about Nordic Walking. This study reviewed the trend for Nordic Walking in the World and Japan as the following points of view; 1) an outline of INWA and the type and the purpose of instructor qualifying examinations certificated by INWA, 2) a trend for Nordic Walking in the World, and 3) the subjects (problems) have to be resolved in the future for Nordic Walking popularization. | |||||||||||
