We study a wireless sensor network system to collect various data and control remote nodes effectively in a relatively large outdoor area. The sensor network system adopts a radio specification calle \"Specified Low Power Radio\" as the wireless transmission system to achieve an economical and reliable sensor network. The system offers various essential functions as sensor network systems such as self-construction of a network, collection of data and self-recovery using the multi-hop communication technology. The paper deals with the system design and the technical consideration on the network performance of the system. We describe the configuration of the MAC frames and functions of the system which is followed by the evaluation of the network performance by computer
