| 内容記述 | 宗教的多元主義は、さまざまな宗教的実践や理論的、神学的課題を提起してきた。ジョン・ヒックの「多元主義仮説」は、社会的、政治的実践にもかかわるような仕方で、諸宗教者の倫理行為喚起を提唱する。この仮説によれば、すべての宗教は「ザ・リアル」と仮称される究極的実在に対する応答であり、諸宗教伝統間の差異は、文化的相違に基づくものである。「対話の神学」を実践したスタンレー・サマルサは、最終的には聖霊の働きに着目し、それはユダヤ・キリスト教伝統の占有物ではなく、あらゆる宗教伝統内に働くものとして捉え、彼の多元主義神学の着地点とする。諸宗教伝統が一元的に収斂されるところに、彼らの多元主義神学の特徴が見られる。このような形式による理論の、現実への適応は困難であろうが、諸宗教伝統間の相違を旗印とした宗教間の対立を避けるため、対話による学びと相互理解の重要性は看過できない。ただし、それは自宗教の自己再検証と吟味にも繫がることによって、初めて意味をもつのではないか。とりわけ、宗教内の一部が孕む暴力性が問題となるとき、「自宗教内対話」の重要性に眼を向けねばならないだろう。それは多元主義神学にとって緊急の課題ではないだろうか。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The theories of religious pluralism have been raising many practical and theological questions to us. Among them, John Hick's 'pluralistic hypothesis'tries to evoke our ethical acts emphasizing socio-political elements involved. This hypothesis describes that all religious traditions are culturally conditioned responses to the same ultimate reality called 'the Real'. Another theory taking up here is Stanley Samartha's 'theology of dialogue'. Samartha was deeply committed to inter-religious dialogues for many years and his theory has concluded by focusing on the works of the Holy Sprit. He says that the Spirit should not be regarded as the monopolistic possession of the Judeo-Christian tradition but as other religious traditions as well. It can be said that there is the same kind of features molding every religions tradition into a uniform pattern in their theories. Since each religious tradition has its own concept of belief, actual adaptability of their theories may not be possible. What is important for learning from dialogues at this time is to lead us to self-reverifications and self-examinations. In this respect, the importance of inner-religious dialogues should also be recognized by the pluralistic theology in order to make it impossible to allow spawning violence in religious traditions. | |||||
