| 内容記述 | 本稿では、内務省に着目して、植民地官僚との関係にも着目しながら、植民地帝国であった日本の本国において果たした役割について検討する。巨大官庁であった内務省は、帝国日本/多民族国家であった日本において、本国を領域として警察行政を所管した。本稿が具体的検討課題とするのは、植民地から本国への人口移動対策、本国における植民地出身者に対する「治安」対策－とりわけ、関東大震災時の朝鮮人対策－、在日朝鮮人を対象とした選挙対策などである。植民地を持つがゆえに本国において起きるこれらの問題群の検討を通して、内務省が民族問題・植民地問題の本国への波及の抑止を目指し、本国の単一民族化を追求していたことを明らかにする。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study focus on the Ministry of Home Affairs, which was a huge government agency, and examine the role it played in the home country of Japan's colonial empire, with focus on the relationship with the colonial bureaucracy. The Ministry of Home Affairs was in charge of police administration in the home country of The colonial and multi-ethnic country Japan, and had jurisdiction over Korean and Taiwanese residents. This study focus on Measures for population movement from the colony to the home country, "security" measures -especially, countermeasures against Koreans at the time of the Great Kanto Earthquake-, and Election measures targeting Koreans in home country. Through an examination of these problems that arise in the home country because of its colonies, we will show that the Ministry of Home Affairs was pursuing a mono-ethnization of the home country in order to deter the spread of ethnic and colonial problems to the home country. | |||||||||||||
