| 内容記述 | 近代の長野県下伊那郡において養鯉業は著しい成長を遂げた。一般に水田で営まれる養鯉とは異なり、下伊那郡では主に養池での養鯉が行われた。本論文は、養鯉が稲作農業の補助機能としてではなく、独立した産業として稲作と両立しつつ定着した過程を考察した。天竜川治水事業が養池養鯉の普及の基盤を築き、農商務省により稲作と養鯉の併行が奨励された。下伊那郡の内陸性と市場の近接性が、養鯉業の発展に大きく寄与した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In modern Shimo-Ina County, Nagano Prefecture, the carp cultivation industry markedly expanded, diverging from the common paddy-based approach to primarily utilize ponds. This paper scrutinizes the evolution of carp farming from a supplementary activity to rice cultivation into an independent, profitable industry. Integral to this growth were the Tenryu River flood control initiatives, which unintentionally prepared the groundwork for pond aquaculture. Additionally, the Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce's investigations promoted the simultaneous practice of rice farming and carp cultivation, acknowledging the substantial income benefits. Shimo-Ina County's inland position coupled with its market accessibility substantially contributed to the industry's prosperity and regional economic vitality. | |||||
