| 内容記述 | 本研究は，路線バス運転者の属性や入職経路および勤務の態様を，A事業者の運転者30名に対する質問紙調査およびインタビューを通じて分析したものである。A事業者は公営ということもあってか，勤務時間は先行研究での指摘よりも短く，休暇も希望通りに取得できていた。また回答者全員に複数回の転職歴があり，約3分の2は身体的負荷の軽さや知人からの紹介をもとにトラック運転者等の類似職種からバス運転者に転職していた。数あるバス事業者からA事業者を勤め先に選んだ理由には勤務時間の短さや休日・休暇の取得しやすさが多く挙げられたが，紹介や勧誘を受けた者も類似職種経験者を中心に一定数存在した。将来的にバス運転者を確保するにあたっても，人的資本を有効に活用できる点や人的ネットワークによって情報が入手できる点から，まずは類似職種の経験を有する中年層の転職を見込むことが望ましいと示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study analyzes bus drivers' working conditions, attributes, and their business careers through questionnaires and interviews with 30 bus drivers at Company A. The working hours of Company A tend to be shorter than the results of previous studies, and drivers can easily take paid vacations when they want to take them. Respondents have changed their jobs several times, and two-thirds of them had similar jobs, such as truck or taxi drivers. Some of them become bus drivers since they suffered physical damage from loading and unloading when they were truck drivers. Most of the respondents selected company A from several options due to better working conditions. Some of them were invited by their acquaintances to work at Company A. This study also suggests the desirability of hiring middle-aged drivers with similar job experiences. This is because those drivers are able to make use of their human capital and get relevant information from their human networks built through their previous jobs. | |||||
