It also aims to examine how society at that time received these commercials and how they were connected to later advertisements. The first animated commercials used puppet animation technology, which was developed after the war. Although many fully animated TV commercials were produced using prewar animation techniques, these were not suited to the small-screen television medium and were thus considered problematic three years after TV stations were launched. Meanwhile, experts in the animation industry were aware of expression styles that had begun overseas some time earlier, which advocated a \"Disney-less\" approach, and they began to seek expression that was free from restrictions. In 1958, the first unique expression of animation was realized in TV commercials. A special program that aired immediately after the opening of Nihon Kyoiku Television (1959) featured this new form of animation expression, and social awareness of the original expression of animation began to
