In recent years, private university-launched venture companies have been increasing. Expectations for private university-launched ventures are growing for both community service and the promotion of universities. However, university-launched ventures are more concentrated at national universities and large-scale universities compared with small-to-medium-sized private universities, which is viewed as a problem in this paper.
