His troop advanced on Yi zhou on the 23d October and was encamped in this city. On the 24th his troop began to wade across the Yalu Jiang , on the 25th got across the river. and engaged with Chinese troops. Afterthen the Chinese troops began to retreat ,the Jppanese troops chased them. Then the chief of his company was wounded, Yamaoka acted for the chief of the company.
