It is shown that the tip penetration obtained numerically agrees with the experimental observation conducted by ourselves. It is found that many vortex rings are created successively in the early period, but sole vortex ring survives in the later period. The tip penetration increases as the power law of time in the early period, while logarithmically with time in the later period corresponding to the change of the structure of vortex rings.
