          <datacite:description xml:lang="ja" descriptionType="Abstract">本報では，マシニングセンタの３軸数値制御によるヘリカル補間運動に基づくネジ切り加工の現象の解明を遂行する．スレッドミル工具を用いてJIS規格のS50C鋼材およびSKD61焼入れ鋼を対象にしたネジ切り加工を遂行する．ネジ切り加工は，対象材に各種の下穴加工を施した後に遂行する．ネジ加工時の切削力，切削温度を計測して，さらにネジ加工精度についてJIS規格に基づき評価を遂行した．その結果，スレッドミル工具を用いたネジ加工法が高硬度材のネジ創成に有効であることがわかった．</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">In the present report, we focus on screw cutting performance by helical interpolate motion with a three axis control machining center. A thread mill tool is used to perform the screw cutting for JIS steel S50C and JIS hardened steel SKD61. The screw cutting is performed for various kind of pre-drilled hole workpieces. We measured the cutting forces and the cutting temperature in screw cutting. Moreover, cut screw accuracy was discussed from a view of JIS accuracy level. As a result, a screw cutting method by thread mill tool was found to be effective to create a screw in hardened steel.</datacite:description>
