本研究は，電力市場と容量市場を考慮した火力発電容量への投資について，基本的な投資評価モデルを構築する。取り分け，両市場の価格について曖昧性が存在する場合を考察する。発電事業者の問題は，最適な投資タイミングを求める問題として定式化される。定式化された問題は，変分不等式を用いて解き，最適な投資タイミングを導出する。さらに，いくつかのパラメータについて感度分析を行い，発電容量投資への示唆を与える。
This study develops a basic investment evaluation model for investment in thermal generation capacity considering the electricity and capacity markets. In particular, we consider the case where ambiguity exists about prices in both markets. The power produce's problem is formulated as an optimal stopping problem for capacity investment. The problem is solved by variational inequalities, and the optimal investment timing is derived. Further, we conduct a sensitivity analysis of several parameters and provide implications for capacity investment.
