本研究では、初期のCOVID-19状況下における日本の中小企業を対象として、中小企業家20名に対するインタビュー調査から得られたデータを基に、中小企業がCOVID-19をどのようなものとして受けとめているか、またそれにどのように向き合ってきたか、さらにはそれをどのように乗り越えようとしているか、といった企業家活動プロセスを明らかにするとともに、COVID-19という文脈でみたさいの企業家活動プロセスのバリエーションを示し、理論的背景に照らし合わせた検討を行った。
Based on qualitative data obtained from own interviews with 20 SMEs managers in the early COVID-19 period in Japan, this study examines the entrepreneurial process; how SMEs perceived COVID-19, how they dealt with it, and how they tried to overcome it. This study also clarified the variations of entrepreneurial processes in the context of COVID-19 and derived some theoretical implications.
